Dialing in on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for your Paparazzi Jewelry online store can’t be emphasized enough. Google search is used by 85% of consumers for shopping and product discovery, and 75% of searchers click on first page results.What is SEO? Simply put, SEO means ranking high on search results to drive traffic to your jewelry store web pages. SEO is complex with many elements affecting how search engines rank, and identify your site.
So how do you get started?  Look at what your competition is doing.  Search Google for the products and services you sell.  Also search for the questions that your customers consistently ask.  The first page of Google search results indicates those competitors that are dialed in on their SEO.

Answering these questions will help you with your SEO strategy:
  • What pages appear in the search results? Competitors’ home pages, blog posts, and product pages?

  • What specific keywords or phrases are used consistently across their site and in their content?
  • What type of content is used to resonate with their audience? Are they producing more tutorials, blog posts, or videos? What is driving the engagement?
Some of the tools I use are Google Search Console, Keywords Everywhere, and Google Analytics
Finally, what are they doing that you aren’t? The answer to this question will help define your SEO strategy. Very briefly – Here are the primary key steps to creating your SEO Strategy:
  • Conduct keyword research
  • Incorporate keywords into your web pages and social media content
  • Write strong meta descriptions
  • Update and analyze your pages and content often
  • Optimize for mobile

Sales Tax You will be charged sales tax (based on your shipping address) on the retail value of each piece you  order. Paparazzi is required to do this. This is intended to ensure that each state tax agency is made  whole on any potential sales from the transactions of that wholesale product. The sales tax is charged at the local level of the place where the order is shipped. Paparazzi collects these taxes at the time of wholesale inventory purchase and remits it to the state on behalf of the Retail Sale that the Consultant may now have.
